After the Keynote
The Keynote Is Over. Now the Work Begins.
Something I said today may have challenged how you think about your work, your team, or the future ahead. What happens next matters more than what happened on stage.
Start a conversation with your team, bring the ideas into your organization, or work with me and my team to put them into practice.
Five Next Steps. Start Where It Makes Sense.
These build in depth, and you can begin with any of them. The first two are yours to start. The last three are work we do together.
- Start it yourself Share it Bring the ideas back to your team and decide what you will do over the next 30, 60, and 90 days.
- You or my team Read together Start a book club. Lead it yourselves or ask my team to facilitate.
- With me Bring me in Have me deliver the keynote for your team or organization.
- With me or my team Work through it Have me or my team design and facilitate a workshop around your real challenges.
- With me Think strategically Bring me in as an advisor to help shape direction and move the work forward.
Share what you learned with your team
Start it yourself
The most useful thing you can do after a keynote is start a real conversation. Set aside time with your team. Share what challenged you, where you see an opportunity, and what you believe should change. Invite people to question and add to your thinking.
Then agree on a 30, 60, and 90 day plan:
- What will we try first?
- What will we put into practice?
- What evidence will tell us whether it helped?
Name an owner and a date to revisit the work. You can lead this conversation without me.

Read a book with your team
You or my team
A book club can give people a shared language and a place to apply the ideas to their own work. Choose Hidden Value to examine how your team creates and makes value visible. Choose The Trusted Learning Advisor if your learning or talent team wants to strengthen its partnership with the business.
Run the discussion yourselves, or have a member of my team facilitate a series built around your organization's priorities. We can help your team move from talking about the book to applying its ideas.

Bring the keynote to your organization
With me
If this message needs to reach more than the people who attended the event, I can bring it to your leadership team, department, or wider organization. We will discuss your audience and what they are facing so the keynote speaks to their context and gives them a shared starting point.

Build a custom workshop
With me or my team
When your people need time to wrestle with an issue together, I or a member of my team can design and facilitate a workshop for your organization. We will start with your goals and real challenges, then build an experience where participants examine the problem, use relevant frameworks, practice new approaches, and leave with decisions and actions they can own.
A workshop could build on the keynote you heard or address a related challenge in leadership, organizational learning, future readiness, or making value visible. The scope, audience, and format are shaped with you.

Bring me in for strategic advising
With me
Some challenges need a thought partner beyond a single event. I work with leaders who are rethinking how their organizations develop people, navigate change, strengthen a learning function, or demonstrate the value of their work.
We begin with what you are trying to accomplish and where progress is getting stuck. From there, we can define a focused advisory engagement with clear objectives and a useful scope.

Not Sure Which Path Fits?
Tell me what you heard today and what your organization is working through. We can explore whether a keynote, facilitated book club, workshop, or advisory engagement would help.
Start the Conversation
Tell me about your organization and what you are working through. Every engagement is scoped and priced around what you need, so share your timing and budget if you have them.
